About the Event
Boo By Boat
A floating Halloween adventure on Lake Hamilton where kids and families trick-or-treat by boat.
Residents decorate their docks and compete for the title of “Halloweeniest Dock.”
Boaters cruise the shoreline gathering candy and casting votes. It’s spooky, safe, and unlike anything else in Arkansas!

How It Works

Dress up your dock.
Add lights, props, inflatables—go wild and make it spooky!

Get on the map.
Register your dock and we’ll pin it so boaters can find you.

Hand out candy.
Trick-or-treaters cruise by boat from 2–6 PM and collect treats.

Get voted on.
Visitors score docks right from their phones—highest totals rise to the top.

Judging Criteria
Each dock is scored from 1–10 in these categories:

Energy, interaction, and fun for all ages.
Prizes

Crystal trophy + ultimate bragging rights.

Custom wood plaque for your dock.

Custom wood plaque for your dock.
Winners are announced after the event based on total points across all categories.

- Register early so your dock appears on the map.
- Plan simple boat-friendly hand-offs for candy.
- Keep walkways and ladders clear and well lit.
- Voting is open during event hours; one ballot per visitor device.
